I would like it to be able to run COD4 on high everything at 30fps
and Crysis Warhead either low at 30fps or medium at 20fps
I am thinking of getting one of these two PC to fit it:
# Processor - Phenom X4 9550 Quad Core
# Ram - 4GB DDR 2 RAM
# Hard Drive - 640GB + 640GB SATA HD
# Optical Drive - Super Multi DVD
# Graphics Card - Nvidea GEForce 8600GT 256MB
# Operating System - Vista Home Premium
tell if the the graphics card suggested will fit it
Will i need a better power supply for PC you will have to find that out
Do top 3 graphics cards or best one
ThankyouWhat graphics card should i buy to run COD4 and Crysis Warhead?
You should try to spend as close to your budget as possible (拢60) instead of going for all the cheap rubbish.
If you can i would highly recommend spending something more like 拢100, you would get your moneys worth.

Crysis HD4870 vs 8800GT?
My computer:
E2160 Dual Core @1.8Ghz
2GB 667Mhz RAM
ATi HD4870 DDR5 512MB
Windows XP
My roomates computer:
E6850 Core 2 @ 3.0Ghz
2GB RAM 800GHz
Nvidea 8800GT 512MB
Windows Vista Premium
Now when playing Crysis I find that his computer generally runs at the same, or maybe even slightly higher FPS than mine. Especially noticed when settings are on HIGH with maybe 4x AA.
I dont get why this would be? My video card is one of the latest cards out with huge results in various reviews and benchmark tests smashing the 880GT in any comparisons. It even beats the newer GTX260 in a few cases.
So anyone know why I'm not getting the FPS the card is meant to be pulling?
Oh and also tested both machines in COD4 and with ALL the settings MAX we both average about 70FPS.....Crysis HD4870 vs 8800GT?
it's not the graphics card HD4870 (this is excellent), it's the weak processor E2160 that is the bottleneck (E2xxx is the budget series)
in my opinion this pair is a mismatch, you should upgrade the processor to an E8400.

best price/performance ratio.Crysis HD4870 vs 8800GT?
The first thing that comes to mind is that its your monitor or even the cables running to your monitor. He probably has both a higher quality monitor and higher quality cables.
I have a SLi 8800GTS and I run Crysis at about 70-72FPS on a 22 Apple Cinema Display.
His computer is also a bit faster then yours. He has a much faster processor and has slightly better memory. This might cause a slight delay between the computer and the display. Crysis HD4870 vs 8800GT?
crysis is a massively processor intense game. your processor is a major bottleneck on your video card. I would either upgrade or overclock the thing. Its an intel, they're known for their awesome overclocks, so you might as well try it, unless this was a pre-made computer which has the bios locked. Its not the graphics card at all because 8800GT SLI would get your roommate crazy high fps. Its your processor, trust me.

Would Crysis run good on that computer?
So. I've been reading many reviews about my computer and seen people saying that "It will run smoothly" etc etc. So today I decided that I'm gonna order Crysis tomorrow but I wanna make and be 100% sure that it will run smoothly on High setting with XP. So my specs are:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale
GPU: PNY G92 Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3
RAM: CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 675
PSP: SeaSonic M12II SS-500GM ATX12V 2.2 /EPS12V 2.91 500W
MOB: GIGABYTE GA-X38-DS4 LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel
Network Interface Card: Intel EXPI9300PT 10/ 100/ 1000Mbps PCI-Express Gigabit Performance to the Desktop 1 x RJ45Would Crysis run good on that computer?
It will run smoothly but not on the highest settings. So yes, it will run smoothly in high settings.
(nice setup btw)
Just barely. My PC has a Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 and 4GB of DDR2 running Windows Vista with a GeForce 8800 GTX. I can barely get 32fps everything maxed out at 1280x1024. But if you play at medium settings it should run in the 40 - 50fps range, especially since you have DX9 and XP. Hope this helps!Would Crysis run good on that computer?
@piNkiShlOOps - You are wrong. Firstable GeForce 8800GT is beating 8800GTX in 3D Mark benchmark test. Second of all Games doesn't know how to use QUAD processor yet. Alan Wake is gonna be the first game that will use all of the QUAD processor power. Sorry about my bad English.
Try the demo and see:
http://www.crysisdemo.com/download.htm
You should do ok since you're running XP and only DX9.
May not be able to max it out at those resolutions thou. I run Crysis with Vista so I dont know how many graphics tweaks XP has but Vista has 12 different graphic tweaks where you can run low, med, high or very high(Vista has very high) so you can experiment with what your rig runs at the best. No fret thou--with your rig you'll do fine.Would Crysis run good on that computer?
man i eeennvvvyyy uuuU!!!!! sure it will work almost anygame with that specc.. also try Ghost recon advance warfighter it's very cahllenging and beautiful game ....
Yes it would probably work.
well, it depends.
I have an Intel Core 2 quad with 2047 megs memory and a geforce 8600 GTS and it runs well. but theres a catch
with crysis, you have to sacrifice certain settings in order for top quality. For example, if you want anti aliasing, then you need to turn down the resolution. For me, 1280 x 1024 with anti alysing is a slide show. My guess is that for you, it will run smooth on medium/ (maybe) medium-high. its kind of hard to say, but you can decide by playing around with the settings. i still love putting it on high because it looks BEAUTIFUL.

If your going to get a Core i7, run your RAM in tri channel. I don't understand why you got a top of the line processor and then went thrifty when it came to the gpu. At 1920x1200 benchmarks are showing you around 40FPS at high but not max settings.Pc setup review/ how will run with crysis?

You got an awesome mobo, cpu, monitor, but you went cheap on video graphics card. You should upgrade to something more practical with your build. It will probably run on mid-high to high. doubt highly it will run on very high
one, never use a 1tb drive as the os drive use a smaller one like 250gb and use the 1tb for storage.
next drop the cross fire and get a hd 4870 x2 which is gddr5
its the most powerfull card on the market today and will cost about what youll pay for the 4850's.

Crysis, an overhyped game?
Hey guys,
I just upgraded my graphics card to Radeon HD 4870 and finally dared buy Crysis Warhead about which I had heard rave reviews. I set everything to enthusiast and a x4 antialiasing. My max resolution is 1440x900 so I maxed it out too. Now the game does NOT look any greater than, say Call of Duty 5 or Fry Cry 2. What's up? Also, I'm getting pretty good frame rates with my AMD X2 6000+ and 3 GBs of RAM. How's that?Crysis, an overhyped game?
Crysis came out before those games (over a year before) and at the time it was the game to beat graphically, and it's still very worthy when seen at its peak. It's also a game which was optimized for SLI Nvidia set ups so despite the fact that you are playing with a good set up you still aren't getting the full experience. 1440x900 also isn't doing any of your games justice, 1920x1080 via HDMI would yield much better picture quality on the right monitor.
It could also be your operating system since Crysis utilizes directX 10.

Crysis or Crysis Warhead?
I have recently purchased a gaming computer( intel quad core, 4 gigs ram, 500 gigs hdd, 1 gig hd grapichs w/pixel shader 3) and my friend told me to get a game called crysis. The game sounded good so I looked it up online. Then I found out that there are 2 crysis games and they both have good reviews so which one should I buy? Also I want the game to be full of action and cool crap and I saw that there is a sandbox mod, is that for crysis, crysis warhead or both?
ThanksCrysis or Crysis Warhead?
HI
Crysis is the older game and Crysis Warhead is the second part of Crysis.
They are one of the best game %26amp; one of the the game with highest graphics.
I think you should purchase Cryris Warhead first. It is a very good game.Play it %26amp; then select if you want to go for Crysis or not.
I have played both the games %26amp; i have found that Crysis Warhead is much better then Crysis.Crysis or Crysis Warhead?
Get tha Crysis Max Pack or some such.
It has both Crysis games plus Crysis Wars in it.
The sandbox is for both games...since Warhead started out as a mod on the first game!!!
It's kinda hard to tell which is more fun / challenging, shooting North Koreans or shooting aliens.
Good Luck!
EDIT: It's called Crysis Maximum Edition.Crysis or Crysis Warhead?
Personally, I think that Warhead has slightly better gameplay than Crysis. However, Warhead is a standalone expansion to Crysis, and runs parallel to Crysis's events. Because of that I would recommend getting Crysis because you'll be able to understand the story much better than with Crysis Warhead. If you have money, however, splurge on the Maximum Edition with Crysis and Warhead. As for the Sandbox, it is for Crysis and Warhead, however it is better suited for Crysis as the original game levels come in an editable format, whereas you can't edit the game levels in Warhead.
If you're going to be a long term fan of the series, get Crysis; it will help you understand the series more and set you up for Crysis 2 and 3 :D

New Computer but old processor makes gaming sloooowwwww?
I just recently built a new computer. Asus Striker Extreme MotherBoard, 2 gigs of OCZ Reaper Memory 800Mhz, 8800 GTS G92 512mb....However i ran out of money and decided to use my processor from my old computer its a Pentium 4, 3.2 HT....So when i booted up my computer and ran Crysis it still didnt run that well..also i ran 3Dmark06 and only got a score of 5,000 when other people with the same graphics cards are scoring over 20,000 and are able to play crysis smoothly at a resolution of 1680x1050...So my question is...does having a old processor really slow down my system that much and make gaming that bad...because i have read reviews of crysis running at my resolution and using my gpu card and they are getting on average around 30 fps and i only get like 9 or maybe 10 at the same settings???? or is something wrong with my other hardware?...anything would be of much help...ThanksNew Computer but old processor makes gaming sloooowwwww?
Your processor is bottlenecking your entire system.
Specifically, your graphics card and RAM are doing more calculations and loads than your processor, therefore your processor can only load a small amount at a time.
That will limit your performance severely. Think of a bottle filled completely with balls that has the width of the opening. Turn the bottle around, and the balls will only come out one at a time. That is exactly what your computer is going through. The balls are the information processed by the GPU, and the bottle is the CPU.
Since you already have a compatible motherboard, switch to a Core 2 Duo. Try the E6750. It is the best performance to price ratio on the market at around 190 USD.
By the way, the guy on the bottom copy pasted me.
Hey man thanks that was very helpful I understand whats going on...its what i thought from the beginning but wasnt sure...i think i might go with an e8400 and save up alil so i can have a FSB of 1333 and 45nm...what do you think?
you need an upgrade
Yes, Pentium 4's are very outdated compared to the new Core 2 Duos and Core 2 Quad processors. Most new games including Crysis utilize multiple core processors, so having a Pentium 4 is not ideal by the least.
To make it short, your processor is bottlenecking your entire system.

Check to make sure everything is running at stock settings. Your motherboard may have defaulted something to a wrong setting causing everything to be slow. Update with specific scores from 3DMark06, cpu and sm3. That'll help find the problem.
I don't think it should be getting a score so low. Let's see if we can solve this.
Your Pentium 4 with Hyperthreading Technology only has a FSB of 800MHz. Ram run's at 400MHz off this chip! I suggest you save for at least a E4500 Core2 Duo 2.2GHz chip. About $119.99 to $129.99 from TigerDirect.com,(depending if you buy the OEM or Retail version is the price difference) Granted the E4500 Core2 Duo has a 800FSB speed, but things change a bunch when you're talkin' about two processor cores! Without going into a whole bunch of technical jibber look at this mobo/cpu combo from TigerDirect.com: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/鈥?/a> See to the right how they recommend the Corsair, or the OCZ, 800MHz ram?
(Course if you can scrape up a little more, this Core2 Duo starts making things Pretty Serious!,[4MBs of cache, 2.66Ghz for each core, and a 1333MHz FSB $199.99) The E6750 is no dog, people just like to overreach what they really need! Check out the bottom review on the above page. Sound's like a good tip!)
try and over clock your processor search google '' how do over clock a processor'' basically its when you make your processor faster by telling it to run at a faster clock rate. most processor speeds are set below the maximum speed so no extra cooling and power are needed.coming soon to dvd

Should I get Crysis 2?
I read a review and it said the game was really good, but I want some feedback from other people.
So, should I get the game or not?Should I get Crysis 2?
You should get it.Its brilliant game.First half of the game is really boring but theres so much fun later.Nice graphics. In my opinion it is better than COD.Should I get Crysis 2?
It is a good game, just rather disappointing that I dont get to kill North Koreans anymore. Its actually better then the first in my opinion. And I think warhead sucked, to many aliens not enough Koreans, or in this game Crynet.Should I get Crysis 2?
It is great. I have it set up on a nice t.v, and it is the most beautiful game. It seems like a perfect balnce between haloreach and cod... just me?
Just got it today, and trust it's fantastic. Buy it, it's $60 well spent

Is it just me? Or is Crysis 2 a disapointment?
I saw the trailers, and reviews, but I finally got currious enough to rent it. I finally did, and I was completely shock on how over rated it is. I dont hate it, but I am disapointed. I tried the story, while looks absouletly gorgoues in game and in cutscenes, the story makes no sense. Half the time I am given more questions then answers, and I still don't know whats going on.
So far I know I am some guy named after prison, some guy named Prophet says I am gona die so your gona have to take this suit and save NYC. Overall the story is confusing, doesnt make sense, and its so boring and generic. Also whats with NYC, its always seems to be in trouble in Video Games, its called Imagination, it wouldn't kill for someone to make their own fictional city.
As for Multiplayer, its boring. I don't hate it, but there is literally nothing special. the texts and scorebored are small ( i have a Standard TV) The Interface is small and confusing, and gameplay wise is unmemorizing. Its button layout is familar with COD/BF, and while again it looks beutiful, its just so boring and getting kills feel like a chore. It just seems to have everything a FPS shooter should have, but nothing more. And I am a huge FPS fan. So what do you think? Am I wrong, cause I won't lie I only played it for like 20min, should I give the game a 2nd Shot.Is it just me? Or is Crysis 2 a disapointment?
It's not just you! I really wish I didn't buy the game also.
But the graphics are amazing!
That is about the only good thing I can say about this game.Is it just me? Or is Crysis 2 a disapointment?
Crysis 2 is easily in the running for best looking game on the platform. This isn't a big surprise, given Crysis's history. However, that the game runs so well across such a wide variety of systems shocked me. Expect greatly improved performance on the same hardware in comparison to Crysis and Crysis: Warhead. In this case, PC players benefit from Crysis 2's journey to consoles. Is it just me? Or is Crysis 2 a disapointment?
i played the game myself at my friends place, i didnt like it either. the graphics are very good but i mean the story didnt intertest me, and the multiplayer is nothing special. i liked the idea of having the nano suit but i only play FPS games for multiplayer.
Crysis 2 is my fav game
Give it a second shot

Which is better Crysis or Call of Duty 4?
I just got Crysis and its amazing no lag at all but im trying to descide if i should buy CoD4 or not...Should I i've heard good reviews abut it. I got a duel core 2.66 GHZ and an 8600 GT vid. card 1.5 GB RAM.Which is better Crysis or Call of Duty 4?
That ultimately depends on what you like better. Your system will handle Crysis at Medium Settings with some things set on high, Call of Duty 4 should be able to run very smooth on high settings for you. Crysis lacks a bit in story and the later missions kind of suck, but you will spend a lot of time messing around in the Sandbox-ish island. As for the multiplayer, it is solid, but not something you will play for too long. Call of Duty 4 runs great, has great story and addictive multiplayer, it's better than Crysis in almost every aspect but not by too much. I would download the Call of Duty 4 demo if you haven't already and see what you think. If you like them both, spring for both, but go CoD 4 first, it will distract you for a long time.
Call of Duty 4 is awesome!!! (if you've got xbox live)Which is better Crysis or Call of Duty 4?
I have never played Crysis before but I have played Call Of Duty 4 and it is ausome. have fun playing. :)
Call of Duty 4 is awsome!
but I really don't know the other game.Which is better Crysis or Call of Duty 4?
if u liked Crysis, then u should get COD4 it is way better than crysis itself and Crysis was a great game.! Call of Duty 4 Kicks A S S
Call of Duty 4 is a great game! Its fast and action packed but totally different than Crysis. If you can run Crysis on medium settings you can run Call of Duty 4 max settings. COD4 is my favourite game this year over Bioshock, Crysis, and Orange Box. I really recommend getting it if you like first person shooters.
My pc stats in case you wanted to know
E6400 O/C to 3.0Ghz
2 GB RAM
Geforce7950 GT
UNREAL TOURNAMENT
but i'll go with crysis-
although call of duty 4 isn't bad itself
do like me and have all three---

what is a good graphics card to last me 6 months and play games such as half-life 2 and such maybe crysis?????
just a cheap one nothing special just something to last 6 months preferably a gaming one but like i said pretty cheap and the games to run in title...
i have not got my pc yet so i cant give pc specs but obviously will have pci-E x 2.0 and that just give me some links and maybe a quick review about the g card ... thanks if u need to email me or summat my email is chris43554_chris@hotmail.co.ukWhat is a good graphics card to last me 6 months and play games such as half-life 2 and such maybe crysis??
check out this article to see which gfx cards you should get within your budget.
i suggest a nvidia 9600gt its a very powerful card capable of playing crysis on almost max graphical settings. if u want something cheaper then go for the 9500gt
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/Best鈥?/a>
you are welcome :-) make sure u get a 2.6ghz core 2 duo with that pc. although i suggest the core2quad q6600 . getting a quad core is futureproofing your pc
for crysis you're gonna need a 9600, altough you might be able to get away with an 8800
nvidia gforce 7900GS koWhat is a good graphics card to last me 6 months and play games such as half-life 2 and such maybe crysis??
Maybe the Nvidia 9600. Not real expensive and it's pretty good.
Go for GeForce 8600GTS,but still I prefer GeForce 8800GT if you want to run Crysis smoothly at high graphic quality.
hi chris
theres never been a better time to purchase a new graphics card, with the drop in pc components you can get a pretty powerful pci-express based card for less than 拢100,and i am going to recommend in my opion the best three gaming cards around at the moment
first we shall look at the Asus ATi Radeon HD 3870 512MB DDR4(http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Component鈥?/a> is a amazing card for its price and for just over 拢100 you get some powerful specifications, these include a 775mhz core clock speed and 512mb of ddr4 memory running at 2250mhz,along with the sizable 256bit memory interface this equates to a card that will eat through games like half life 2 and crysis like a hot knife through butter
the next card i want to bring to your attention is the nVidia GeForce 9800GT 1024MB PCI-E (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Component鈥?/a> isnt the most attractive looking card but pound for pound its the best nvidia based card in its range
i have seen a few of these through their paces and trust me they are awesome, the 600mhz core and 1800mhz ddr3 memory speed produce some amazing frame rates and the 256bit memory bus gives this card a memory bandwidth of 57.6gb/sec which is excellent by anyones standards
other features include the NVIDIA庐 Lumenex Engine and the NVIDIA庐 Quantum Effects physics processing technology which is basically a ageia physx core built into the card, since nvidia bought out ageia 12 months ago they have been including physx processors in their mid to high end 9 series cards, this means you can get the amazing effects found in the physx cards but without having to buy a seperate ageia physx card
i like this card and its also a ideal candidate for running in sli configuration,a great all round card
the next card i will recommend is the MSI GeForce 9800GTX Over Clocked 512MB PCI-E2.0 (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Component鈥?/a> and for this card well what can i say?,this is a totally amazing and powerful card and can produce frame rates that were only capable in cards over 拢400 a few months ago
its 700mhz core clock is extremely fast and the 512mb of gddr3 memory running at 2200mhz makes this card fly through games without a problem
the 256bit memory bus is good and support for pixel and shader model 4.1 is excellent, and with direct x 10.1 compliance this makes this card a gamers dream
as for the card itself its cooling unit is nice to look at and will fit in most standard cases, however it does require a fairly powerful power supply, however a 500watt or more should be fine(20A or more on the +12v dc rail)
these cards may be slightly expensive however they are future proof and will make your gaming experience alot better than with older cards
for a slightly cheaper gaming experience there are still some decent sub 拢50 cards, for example the XFX Geforce 8600GT 512MB DDR2 PCI-E (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Component鈥?/a> a excellent budget card with some decent specs including a 540mhz core clock and 512mb of ddr2 memory running at 800mhz
as with all budget cards this card comes with a reduced 128bit memory bus, however at lower resolutions this and other budget cards will produce some acceptable frame rates
another decent budget offering is the Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 3650 512MB PCI-E2.0 (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Component鈥?/a> is a excellent card for anyone who enjoys watching dvd,s as well as gaming mainly due to its excellent Unified Video Decoder (UVD) for Blu-ray鈩?and HD DVD at full HD 1080p ,and its gaming specs are not too bad aswell, check them out :
512MB GDDR3
128-bit memory interface
Core / Memory Clock 鈥?725 / 800
PCI Express庐 2.0 x16 bus support
DirectX庐 10.1 / Shader Model 4.1 support
ATI CrossFireX鈩?multi-GPU support
and finally theres the Sapphire ATi Radeon HD 2600 XT 256MB PCI-E(http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Component鈥?/a> may be nearly 2 years old however it still supports direct x 10 and shader model 4 and has some excellent specifications aswell including a massive 800mhz core clock speed and 256mb of excellent gddr3(graphic double data rate 3) memory running at 1100mhz(2200mhz ddr effective) means this card is in theory up there with more powerful graphic cards, however
You can play Crysis with a 8800 ok, i use this myself for the same game. But make sure your computer is compatible with it, look at all the specifications on it before you buy any hardware.

How can i record crysis 2?
i need to record gameplay of games to make a game review for a class assignment. I have looked into it already and have found BSR screen recorder. At first i thuoght that this would record the game overlay, but instead it comes up with a black screen and only records audio and mouse movementsHow can i record crysis 2?

Build 2 will be better.
A quad core Sandy Bridge Vs. a quad core Bulldozer isn't even a debate when you consider that the Octocore Bulldozer can barely equal an i5-2500. An i5-2400 will be substantially faster than a quad core Bulldozer.
The Radeon 6870 is noticeably faster than the GTX 550 ti. The 6870 is about equal to a non Ti GTX 560. And the GTX 550 ti competes with the Radeon 5770/6770.
I'd go with a better PSU though. Don't make the mistake of getting a cheap PSU. you get what you pay for. I'd opt for a 600w Corsair, Enermax, Silverstone, Antec, or XFX. 500 watts should be enough, but I'd give myself some headroom for future expansion and capacitor aging.
Neither build will max out BF3 or Crysis 2 (DX11 mode) at the industry standard 1080p res, but they will run them decently.
Build #1 really doesn't have enough GPU to handle the more demanding games, and it's CPU is quite frankly underwhelming. Basically Build #1 has no advantages over build #2 at all other than storage space.
Oh and I'll offer some proof to back up my claims unlike the other uniformed responders.

Can I run Crysis (2) with little to no lag?
Both of them seem like a great game (got good reviews and gameplay looks good), but I don't have an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 so I hope I can run this game on my PC. If I can, what setting can I play on with still little or no lag?

Just to be on the safe side the ati 6750 would run crysis 2 smoothly on high settings? Right?
Just to be on the safe side. I already asked this question and was told it can run on highsettings without lag, and some say it cant.
Can the ATI 6750 play Crysis 2, Rift on high settings, and Metro 2033 on medium setting. My budget is now 120$ to play crysis 2 and rift on high and Metro 2033 on medium settings.
Im really looking fora card in my price range with a free game included like my car which is 110$ MIS ati6750 on newegg. And it must be from newegg with good reviews.
And is the Nvidia gtx 550 better or worse than the ATI 6570/6770 GPU.
And how well is the Nvidia GTX 465 compared to the Nvidia GTX 550, ATI 6750/6770.

Plese let me know the minimum power supply needefor each card, the destops is 460w.
And also Ifound quite a few videos on the ATI 6750 and 6770 and the nvidia GTX 550 and 465 on youtube playing very smooth.Just to be on the safe side the ati 6750 would run crysis 2 smoothly on high settings? Right?
IMO no. IMO the playable FPS is 45+. 6850 gets on average 43. And with the new patch 6850 gets only 24 FPS in high settings, no AA, Full HD. Either get more money or stick with DX9 patch and 1280x1024.Just to be on the safe side the ati 6750 would run crysis 2 smoothly on high settings? Right?
You didn't say what resolution you were expecting to play it at. If you have a 1680x1050 or higher resolution in mind, probably not. Btw, the human eye perceives fluid motion at 30 FPS and above. That's always been my lower limit when I look for minimum gaming specs. Of course, higher is always better.
I would suggest for your budget, to move up to the 6770. See the Newegg link below.

How will my Computer setup deal with gaming/crysis 2?
Just been a little worried because I've already ordered and paid for the rig. I primarily want it for gaming, to be able to run games such as Crysis 2 at medium+ graphic settings.
I had a look at reviwes for each component before I added them to the machina and in general all the components I added had a lot of praise, especially the graphics card.
I didn't look too deeply into my CPU though and I fear I may have shot myself in the foot after reading up some reviews about it.
here are the stats.
AMD Bulldozer FX 4100 3.6Ghz quad core CPU
8GB 1333Mhz DDR3 RAM
1TB Hard drive
Nvida GeForce GTX 550Ti 1GB GPU
High performance Gigabyte motherboard
Wifi internett access PCI card
(450 watt)
Upon futher research I've heard bad things about the bulldozer CPU and the wattage for the machina.
Will this machine run games such as Crysis on medium/max settings? (I saw an example of the 550Ti GPU running Crysis 2 on max settings with 40FPS)
If there are problems with my rig can you suggerst replacement components?
ThanksHow will my Computer setup deal with gaming/crysis 2?
You definitely shot yourself in the foot with the CPU. You should of a paid a little more to get a Intel i5 as it would of been much better bang for you buck. However it shouldn't bottle neck your video card you should still be able to play Crysis at max settings with 40FPS if that's what the video card is reported at. Since you already paid for your motherboard and CPU it wouldn't be worth it to exchange it now, but if its an AM3+ slot you should get the 2nd revision "Piledriver" when it comes as it should be a vast improvement. How will my Computer setup deal with gaming/crysis 2?
ive never used a bulldozer CPU before but my 2 year old laptop plays Crysis 2 on advanced (medium) so i think you should be fine.suzuki samurai

KZ3 vs Bulletstorm vs Homefront vs Crysis 2 vs Duke Nukem Forever vs Brink vs Socom 4?
Which will you think be the top overall? Feel free to put it in listfrom one being the top and explaining why as well.
In my opinion...
1. Brink - The customozation looks really nice and it looks like it will have a lot of success.
2. Killzone 3 - Well, it's Killzone. Very nice gameplay, graphics, etc.
3. Homefront - I really think this will be as good as BC2.
4. Crysis 2 - I don't even want to put this game into the list. I think KZ3 beats it in every way. If you think KZ3 doesn't have much to do, wait till you hear that Crysis has 12 maps, 12 primaries, and 4 secondaries, 11 attatchments, 3 mounted gun types, 4 explosives, and 20 suit models. The worst thing about this game is there are killstreaks. No thank you. Wouldn't want to play another Mw2-like game full of campers tryign to get killstreaks.
5. Socom 4 - I never really played Socom 3 (Got a 6.5 which is fail) but i'll give this game a try. If it gets another bunch of bad reviews, then it's not worth checking out.
6. Bulletstorm - I seriously had no fun whilee playing the demo. The gun's sight looks nice... hell that's the only thing I can say that's nice about the game. Doesn't impress me enough to be worth checking out.
7. Duke Nukem Forever - I've never been a fan, so i'll get hate for this, but I think it's more of a joke than a serious shooter. I wouldn't want to be seeing a cut scene that shows him taking a leak in a shooter. Not my thing and I don't think it will be one of the top shooters this year.
I just added the shooters that are coming out soon. That's why I didn't post games like Resistance 4 and w/e.KZ3 vs Bulletstorm vs Homefront vs Crysis 2 vs Duke Nukem Forever vs Brink vs Socom 4?
If Killzone 3 and Socom 4 can pull off the Move controls, then I believe they will be the top shooters this year, at least on the PS3. I think your doing yourself a disservice by dismissing Socom 3 just because it got bad reviews. Zipper fixed just about everything that plagued the game at launch and it ended up a solid online shooter, but the damage was already done and many people passed.
I haven't seen enough of Brink's gameplay to be convinced it will be good. I've seen a KICK-*** trailer, and some interesting character design and customization, but I havent seen much gameplay, in particular how the free-run system will work.
Duke Nukem and Bulletstorm to me will just be too over the top and too goofy/meatheadish to be taken seriously. Although for just $100 the Collectors edition of Duke Nukem seems like an awesome package.

Do I get Crysis 2 or Homefront for Xbox 360?
Ok I want a good FPS. Single Player(Campaign) I don't really care about. I will maybe play it if I get bored, what I am really looking for is a amazingly FUN multiplayer. What game will offer that to me? I have seen the reviews Homefront is getting HIT hard with bad reviews but I wanna know what you think. Thanks
Keep in mind this is for XBOX 360Do I get Crysis 2 or Homefront for Xbox 360?
I havent played Crysis 2 so I cant answer that one...
But as far as Homefront is concerned...the multiplayer IS awesome fun. Problem is that they have had serious server issues (apparently everywhere but here in CA, as I havent had a single problem at all...but Im reading all the people complaining about not being able to play online...) I like the system it uses - as you make kills, you get battle points. You can use the battle points to purchase upgrades to use during that match, such as flak jackets, rocket launchers, personal UAVs or Hellfire missles. In COD, you have to get kill streaks to get rewards - on this, you just gather points. If you die between each kill, you can still save up the points until you are ready to unleash some hellfire missles on the opponents. It is like a cross between COD and BFBC2. Huge maps, etc. The graphics leave a little to be desired. The single player campaign is VERY short...6 hours. But fun, good story.Do I get Crysis 2 or Homefront for Xbox 360?
Well both are great games but Homefront it kind of like every other shooter, Crysis 2 on the other hand has elements that are totaly different, making it a new experience. I would say either way you go you get a good game, but if you want to get something new go with CRYSIS 2!Do I get Crysis 2 or Homefront for Xbox 360?

I would say either way you go you get a good game, but if you want to get something new go with CRYSIS 2!Do I get Crysis 2 or Homefront for Xbox 360?
Get Crysis 2, Homefront has bad reviews.
you have to get Crysis 2 it is the best out there lol!!!!!!!
Crysis 2 (Xbox 360) worth it or not?
Ok so it is spring break and I am really bored of playing some of the xbox games I have. I am a huge female gamer who loves fallout 3 games and modern warfare along with oblivion, assasins creed and fable 2. My favorite of those games is Fallout 3 but I am getting bored of playing it along with fallout new vegas. I really want some thing spontaneous to play! I heard Crysis 2 is a good game so I want to know if it is worth the $60 b4 I got out and spend that much money on it. I l want a game with AMAZING graphics, a GOOD story, has FREE roam by enlarge (not flowing a story 1 step at a time) and a game where you BLOW things up and it gets destroyed. Looking at the videos and reviews this game looks like a fallout game but ten times better with the falling buildings and blowing things up. Anyone think they can let me know if it is worth it and what other games are just as good?Crysis 2 (Xbox 360) worth it or not?
I've played Crysis 2 and I can honestly say, it is the most beautiful game I have ever played. It's storyline is okay, AI isn't great, but is a very fun and stimulating experience. I would definitely recommend picking it up.
If you want some reviews and scores on Crysis or maybe other games, check out www.videohuevos.com .Crysis 2 (Xbox 360) worth it or not?
Seeing how like Bethesda games, I would suggest saving up for The Elder Scrolls V: Skryim. But that doesn't help you right now, does it?
What I can suggest for RIGHT now is not necessarily buying Crysis 2, or any new game, but rather a old game that has great reviews, and is a honestly great game. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. It is a original Xbox game, and is made by Bethesda.
...but that's my opinion.Crysis 2 (Xbox 360) worth it or not?
i think you can go with Crysis 2 - Limited Edition i am sure you like it .
Crysis set the visual benchmark for PC games that still stands today. Crysis 2 redefines the benchmark on console now, shifting their attention to the rich urban jungle of New York City.
Challenging best-in-class AI with unique group coordination and group behavior systems which give realistic responses to your actions.
Adapt your combat tactics by customizing your Nanosuit 2 and weapons in real time with revised modes, unlocking a variety of supersoldier abilities.
World-renowned multiplayer shooter studio Crytek UK reinvents multiplayer with the dynamic intensity of Nanosuit 2 in 12-player support online.
By using Nanosuit technology the player has nearly unlimited ways to approach the dynamic combat environment.
1. The game is not like FallOut its more like Modern WarFare meets Halo. With stealthy elements. The story will probably take anywhere from 10-14 hrs to beat and yes its closer to "one step at a time" but you can take on objectives in different ways.
2. If you like multiplayer this is one of the best! you have to learn so much! Its not a run of the mill shooter at all it will take time to get used to everything.
3. I rarely buy games the first week they come out but this was the first time in years! and worth every penny!

Crysis 2 Ranking Online?
Hey guys =)
Planning on getting crysis 2 at the week end as i played the demo awhile ago and did enjoy it very much even though it was just 1 map.
What is the ranking system like online , is it rank all the way up to top rank and thats it or is there a prestige mode to it?
Also guys whats your reviews on the game?
I will be getting this on the xbox 360 if it matters.
Thanks
=)Crysis 2 Ranking Online?
I don't know the ranking system online. I don't have LIVE. But I can tell you that there are 50 ranks that use an EXP point system. I don't know about the prestige mode, I doubt it. Thats all I really know. But what I can help you with is the review part of your question. I do own the game, and it is by far the best shooter I have ever played. I own all Call of Duty's to date, and every single Halo game (except Halo Wars), as well as Bad Company. Crysis 2 beats them all in terms of graphics and features. It pretty much combines CoD and Halo, throws a little Tom Clancy in there, and then puts them all to shame. I have it for the 360 and I was not disappointed! With the campaign, that is.

Mass Effect 2 vs Crysis 2 vs SHOGUN 2 vs Oblivion?
I have heard really good reviews about each game, saying they are all very good. I have personally played Crysis 2 and Mass Effect 2 myself, but I've actually completed a few levels in Crysis 2. The graphics were intense, and I loved it. Mass Effect 2 was also really awesome, and I feel that it's amazing as well. My friend has Total War: SHOGUN 2, however, and is always saying how it's really good and all, and the trailers look pretty cool too. Also since everyone is so excited about Skyrim, Oblivion then must be a really good game. It's pretty cool overall, and my friends also like it. I generally focus on playing Sci-Fi games, however, Oblivion and SHOGUN 2 seem very fun too. Which game should I get? (Price doesn't matter)Mass Effect 2 vs Crysis 2 vs SHOGUN 2 vs Oblivion?
Shogun is an rts just in case you didn't know and each game here is very different. Do you prefer rpgs, fps, or rts. Your choice.Mass Effect 2 vs Crysis 2 vs SHOGUN 2 vs Oblivion?
Wait, what the **** is your question?
Did you play Mass Effect 2 or do you own it?
If you don'[t own it, buy it.
Wait for Skyrim to be released before you go all crazy about it.
The previous Oblivion was a much weaker version of Fallout 3 which was a much weaker version of New Vegas.Mass Effect 2 vs Crysis 2 vs SHOGUN 2 vs Oblivion?
Oblivion will keep you occupied for the next 4 years.smart

Which game should I buy for Xbox (Crysis 2 or Brink)?
I'm looking for a new game, but now I got a dilemma. I have a choice between Crysis 2 and Brink.
I've done my research, and read reviews for both, but I'm still not convinced.
I need a game I won't get bored of in a month, and that will still be fun to come back to months after I've bought it.
I've played Brink on PC, and its honestly quite fun, so I don't understand why there is so much hate. I've never played Crysis 2 though.Which game should I buy for Xbox (Crysis 2 or Brink)?
I think Crysis 2 would be a better decision.Which game should I buy for Xbox (Crysis 2 or Brink)?
I've never played brink but I do have and beat crysis 2 and it is one of my favorite games of all time! Long and in depth story line and a good online (online is much harder than call of duty or any other war game but still very fun) I love the fact that on crysis there are so many different ways that you can attack a mission or a target. You can go stealth and pick enemies off one at a time, snipe from a high point, run and gun while dipping out of cover in stealth to avoid being seen, or just run straight at the enemy with the biggest gun you have and switch to maximum armor! So my opinion would be to get crysis because it is VERY FUN!!! But once again I have never played brink so I don't know how good that game is either.
Hope I helped some!Which game should I buy for Xbox (Crysis 2 or Brink)?
Does it have to be one of these two? there are tonnes of great games from a couple of years back that are quite cheap, id recommend fallout 3, Bioshock, and Bioshock 2
Ninja Gaiden 2 is good (if hard) the first prince of persia is also great :) The Orange Box is also a good option :)
i would recommend crysis 2 , brink is also pretty good one , but the best is to buy assasins creed

Trade in my crysis 2 for infamous 2?
The reason i wanted to trade in my crysis 2 was because i could not join a single MP match on the ps3. Yesterday, i tried finding a game in crysis 2 but after 20 mins i still couldnt find any matches! Most of the time the game would automatically create a game for me but after 5 mins there was still no one joining my room. I have no idea what is wrong, i tried searching for answers on the internet but the only plausible answer was that there was too little people playing the game. Infamous 2 was given relatively good reviews so i was wondering whether i should trade in crysis 2 for an additional $20? And should i buy infamous 1 since a lot of people are saying that infamous 2 is a continuation of infamous 1? But i am on a tight budget.
PS. I am halfway into the SP of crysis2 but was not a fan of its campaign since my main motive for buying crysis2 was its MPTrade in my crysis 2 for infamous 2?
Yes, go trade it in, I had that same problem, not being able to join matches in Crysis 2... Crytek failed with Crysis 2 anyway ... go with inFAMOUS 2...Trade in my crysis 2 for infamous 2?
Yes, Go for it InFAMOUS 2 is a great open world gameTrade in my crysis 2 for infamous 2?
Yes, I would trade it in, Crysis isn't very good on consoles anyway, you'll enjoy Infamous 2 more.

Crysis on 2 AMD Opteron 1214 Santa Ana 2.2GHz?
Will crysis run on a PC with 2 dual core AMD Opteron 1214 Santa Ana 2.2GHz processors? I know the video card I have can handle it because I red it in the reviews, but how will the processing power size up? Thanks!Crysis on 2 AMD Opteron 1214 Santa Ana 2.2GHz?
Hi. My understanding is that having a dual core processor is like having two cars in the garage. Useful if you are doing more than one thing (going to the computer store and getting groceries or beer each with one car). Not sure if SLI distributes the load between the cores or the processors. My guess is that you'll be fine.

Should I get Homefront or Crysis 2?
I have an Xbox 360 and I'm getting a bit bored of Call of Duty. These two games are new and have both received pretty good reviews. When I play first person shooters, I mainly play the multiplayer of it. My question for you is, which one should I get? Homefront or Crysis 2?
Thanks in advance.Should I get Homefront or Crysis 2?
Obviously u can get it.

i think i am the only one saying this but i would choose homefronts because it has fair gameplay as it runs on something called battlepoints so if you suck you get points for sucking if you are good you get points for being good and you can play any way you want to for instance if you dont want to kill stuff you can get into a helicopter and spyout enemies or you can get a helicopter if you like destruction and bomb the hell out of everything. If I were you I would get homefronts it has sweet 16 vs 16 gameplay is their are many types of ways to play. for me crisis is fun but it is bassically CoD with invisibility, aliens and wierd kill streaks so as I said before homefronts is the best because it can be played over and over againShould I get Homefront or Crysis 2?
First off if you like fiction more than anything else then go for Crysis 2 else Homefront.
Now, Crysis 2 multiplayer is good but in Homefront you will have to look for enemy for an average of 60 sec or 1 min in the multiplayer cuz the maps are big as compared to the players online servers are holding. Therefore Crysis 2 is a win with great visuals too.
Neither. But if you have to choose... Hmm that is a hard one, but you gotta go with Crysis. I personally haven't played it but I do regret paying $60 for Homefront... Homefront is a cheap Frontline: fuels of war (Old xbox 360, don't know if you remember but go look it up, there the same exact game online!) And battle field mix. The graphics could be better, the gameplay is just so shitty, and when it lags... It really lags! Go with Crysis, from what I've seen, its a beautiful game, and I own the first one and I've played the Crysis 2 demo and it was pretty decent. But if I were you, I'd save my money for Portal 2 or Duke Nukem. Buuuutt if you have to pick between those games, Crysis.Should I get Homefront or Crysis 2?
Crysis 2 is better, i have that game, its about a war (North Korea vs. America), but ur in future, you have got some "magic clotes" which can emprove you in to:
-Super Super strong
-Invisible
-Very Very VERY fast
(in a different time)
ANd i suggest sniper !!!!
i have heard all bad things about home front both multi player and single player
as for c2 i have heard of a few bugs but other than that a decent game
you can check youtube game play videos to see what might fit your style for gaming better
I heard that homefont kinda' bombed, and I've had my eye on Crysis for a while, so I'm a little partial, but I would suggest Crysis.
Crysis 2 bc my friend has homefront and he says the multiplayer sucks and the guns sound like balls bouncing down stairs.but personally get mw2or haloreach
my friend said homefront is cool because it gets crazy online
crysis looks like a good game but im not sure
my gt is LOCOMONKEY96 (my cousin did it for me)
Oh my god CRYSIS EASILY . Homefront is a horrible game it's a budget shooter you can tell by playing it that it was on a low budget . Basically it's a low budget call of duty / battlefield rip off with few modes and little originality . And just to prove i have both my gamertag is Jt G88 You'll see i own both games and never play homefront .
The graphics are bad , the online is boring if you've played any other shooter , the story is short , and the game feels cheap things like the aiming , physics etc let you know they were on a budget producing this mediocre game .
Now on to the best shooter of the year so far Crysis 2 . One of the best shooters iv'e played in years it has much better reviews then homefront , it even has better reviews then call of duty , so far it's the highest scoring shooter this year . It has the BEST graphics of any game on the xbox 360 , the campaign is actually better than the online of EITHER game and is the main attraction
Better game easily Crysis 2 it's longer , better story , good online . better graphics , original , semi open world , play however you want etc
Trust me though Crysis has the best campaign iv'e seen in an fps in years . It lets so play however you want , you could play the game like splinter cell or metal gear and sneak past the guards or like a standard shooter , good story and so much variety. It's 10-12 hours long on the story and the online is good.
I know you don't care for story and cod has made you only like online but trust me you HAVE to play the story it's the best part of crysis 2 i'd take the game without the online and pay 60$ only for the campaign .
Crysis everyone is cloaking or running fast , jumping off building or using super armor . The game is more tactical online and has better levels . The graphics on killzone and crysis are about even BUT the lighting in crysis is so good the sunlight reflects off leaves and the water glimmers . Killzone has better textures and less jaggies but they're about equal there.

Dragon Age 2 or Crysis 2?
i own a xbox 360, and im a fan of both RPG and FPS games.
i know these are kind of not-so-new games, but im looking for something to kill the time
its summer vacation, and i've been bored out of my skull
so, which game would give me the most play time? i usually burn through games pretty fast (it took me 2 days to beat mass effect 2)
i kinda want to buy DA2 but i heard Crysis got a better review, and that its a great shooter.
suggestions?Dragon Age 2 or Crysis 2?
DA2 is really boring. Crap story, crap characters, crap dialogue, crap voice acting, crap quests. It all takes place in one dull looking city that is extremely small so you'll be seeing the same places OVER and OVER again. Such a disappointment compared to the original.
So yeah, go with Crysis 2.Dragon Age 2 or Crysis 2?
DA2 is crap. DA1 was fairly poor; felt like a lot of stuff was incomplete, like it was half-finished. DA2 is the same or worse, but they've also messed up the RPG elements, making it more like an arcade game.Dragon Age 2 or Crysis 2?
DA2 is amazing, there are multiple pathways in the game so you need to play at least 3-5 times to experience it fully.
DA2 is longer but Crysis is much more fun
i know these are kind of not-so-new games, but im looking for something to kill the time
its summer vacation, and i've been bored out of my skull

Crysis 2 is it any good for the xbox 360?
i've heard mixed reviews about this game from it's like call of duty in the multiplayer way then it's really awsome i've played the demo and thought it was ok. is crysis 2 any good. Also does the multiplayer get repetetive and boring.Crysis 2 is it any good for the xbox 360?
all multiplatform games run better on the 360 then they do on the ps3 FACT.
In my honest opinion, the multiplayer gets better and better as you unlock more perks and weapons. Weapons can be upgraded, as well as perks. Both requiring you to complete a certain amount of kills for example. Though their are bugs at time, this is one of the best multiplayer i've played in a while. It almost seems as if they combined Halo and CoD to make a great fast paced game.
GT: XternaL 2010Crysis 2 is it any good for the xbox 360?
definately Crysis 2. Iv got all the Call of Duty's, Battlefield BC2, Medal of Honor and Halo Reach and this out does them all..except 4 the servers and connection issues people have been complaining about. It runs quite fine on the 360 also.
I heard that Crysis 2 is supposed to be a very good game, but as far as how it will run on the 360 I cannot say for sure. check out some gameplay videos on youtube.Crysis 2 is it any good for the xbox 360?
My bro playing Crysis 2 multi on xbox360 a lot, he's saying that's like Call Of duty. It's a few repetitive due the maps but solo mode r awesome.

How well would crysis run on my pc?
Well i've been reading some reviews on crysis, video reviews too and am thinking about buying it. I was wondering if it would run alright on my pc.
Intel core 2 Quad @ 2.5ghz q9300
4gb ram (3.2 on vista 32 bit. Which i have)
Nvidia geforce 8600gt 512mb video ram (Dedicated)
Direct X 10
Realtek high definttion audio
1000gb hard drive
So could i run crysis on medium settings or what.
Tips would be appreciated on how to run the game the best
CheersHow well would crysis run on my pc?
you can probably run crysis on medium settings at 1280x1024 at about 30+ fps if you want to go high res then turn down the shadders
also no aa or the game would be unplayableHow well would crysis run on my pc?
should be perfectly fine. you have better than the system requirments they say on the siteHow well would crysis run on my pc?
everything is good except the graphics card. games don't ussualy use the processor but they use the graphics card the most. i run crysis at 800x600 with high settings and crysis warhead at 1024x768 with high setting on a 8600gts. you might be able to get high or at least med-high.
Should run well on high settings. But look at www.systemrequirementslab.com

Should I buy Crysis 2?
I traded in some games at Best Buy today and I got $42 from them, and I want to buy a new game. But I'm not sure what game to get. Crysis has gotten GREAT reviews, and looks rather fun, but I'm hesitant to spend $60 on it (even if its just $20 cash).
I'm only looking for a new game because I'm burned out on black ops and can't get myself to play it because its too boring for me now. Is Crysis gonna be too similar that I'm going to be burned out too quick?
OR should I just go out and get BFBC2 because my friend just picked it up and it seems like we could have some fun messing around on that game (for half the price) :D
Or should I just wait for Mortal Kombat or Portal 2? Help :3Should I buy Crysis 2?
If you like multiplayer FPS games. Don't waste your time. This games multiplayer is GARBAGE. But if you are buying it for single player go for it. Otherwaise wait for MK9 it comes out in 2 weeks.
I wouldn't spend that much on crysis 2. Just because it will last you around 2 days. Sure, you might play it again sometime in the future, but in my opinion it's not worth it.
BFBC2 is a pretty fun game and it is worth the price in my opinion.
Portal 2 might be worth it, just because it's a puzzle game and not the generic kill this kill that FPS.Should I buy Crysis 2?
Mortal Kombat and Portal 2 sucks. I just got Crysis 2 and it's pretty good. It's one of the only shooters that enables powers. Battlefield Bad Company 2 is basically an upgraded version on the CoD series. Nothing new, really, but more guns, vehicle machinery. But other than that, nothing new. I'd get Crysis 2, since they are the most hit series at the moment.
Portal 2 seems to be good im really looking forward to it. Crysis2 seems to be awesome. Go to youtube and search geirbiscohn and go to his channel he has lots of crysis2. Your choice.Should I buy Crysis 2?
Crysis 2 is amazing but wait for Mortal Kombat 9 to come out that will be the ultimate fighting game even knowing Crysis 2 is a Amazing FPS experience......%26gt;%26lt;?
u should def wait for portal 2. its gonna be awesome, especially if u played the first one
I think you should look at some reviews before you make your choice, that way you see what problems it could have.
don't buy bfbc2 because bc3 if coming out soon
The campaign is really fun and will last you a while. Personally I bomb rushed it and beat it faster than I should have but I still play it and have a ton of fun.
The multiplayer is great, but you need a good internet connection or you get a bunch of BS but that's with all online games.
It is the best looking game, the storyline and soundtrack are great, with such good quality you get a great deal of glitches and lag.
Ultimately though, the decision is up to you. Also if you play a PS3 the game's controls restrict you to the R1 and R2 for aiming/shooting so keep that in mind.

Crysis 2 or Killzone 3?
For anyone who owns one or both (or has played them long enough to get their opinion) which is better? On metacritic.com Crysis 2 has better reviews but Killzones been out longer. Crysis 2 seems like its more complex then Killzone but I haven't played it long enough to get an opinion. Just please tell me what their like and pros and cons.Crysis 2 or Killzone 3?
I recommend killzone 3,the online seems the best this yearCrysis 2 or Killzone 3?
I have both for PS3. Basically, Crysis 2 is a mix of Gears of War, Call of Duty MW2/Black Ops, Halo Reach, and Jesus. Except its very challenging. I have played killzone that much but its a really good game. Its really a matter of personal preference, but I recommend Crysis 2. But the voices are ridiculousCrysis 2 or Killzone 3?

Crysis 2 or Homefront?
Ok so ive had my ps3 since christmas. Ive only played blackops since then and want something new. Im deciding whether to get homefront or Crysis. Ive read reviews and watched videos and both look amazing. I can only get one so which one is better?Crysis 2 or Homefront?
They both look very cool and amazing but Crysis 2 is the only one thats ACTUALLY amazing. Don't get fooled by homefront videos, the gameplay is dull, boring, campaign is short, graphics suck, multiplayer not very interesting and much more. TRUST ME. Get Crysis 2 and not homefront, you won't be sorry. :DCrysis 2 or Homefront?
If you want something completely different go for crysis but if you still want something similar to black ops then homefront is the way to go.
Crysis: more realistic graphics and physics; large selections of guns and huge splosions!
Homefront: Beter story line; more compeling and better multiplayer.Crysis 2 or Homefront?
u should go with crysis 2

Should i get Brink or Crysis 2 for xbox 360?
I've got 50 bucks to spend on a game and I'm stuck between brink and Crysis 2. I really want Brink because its parkour something i enjoy, but i want Crysis 2 because it got great reviews and it looks amazing.Should i get Brink or Crysis 2 for xbox 360?
crysis 2 for sure it has a great story line that is of medium length and keeps you interested and the online is sweet even though its only 6v6 the graphics are one of the best of any online game i think atleast buy this now then save up to get brink. its def worth the 50 bucksShould i get Brink or Crysis 2 for xbox 360?
Crysis 2 are the controls; more specifically the tailoring of every action in the game to craft a simpler, console-friendly setup. The previous game implemented a control wheel to let you quickly switch between the parameters of Stealth, Power, Speed, and Armor in your Nanosuit -- a powerful piece of combat armor designed to help you develop your own play style and creatively dispatch enemies. Although this worked great on PC, it was scrapped and retooled for the sequel.

Should I buy Crysis 2 or Black Ops?
Which should I buy? I want lots of action but Ive heard that Black Ops isn't very good. On the other hand, it's only $52 at Meijer, compared to $60 for Crysis 2. I have heard nothing but positive reviews for Crysis 2. I also will be getting or buying MW3 at Christmas, so should I buy Black Ops or just wait and get MW3? This will be my first FPS purchase (besides Quantum of Solace, which freezes at a certain point so I can't even beat the game). Most of my friends have Black Ops and none have Crysis 2, but it doesn't matter much because I don't have Gold.Should I buy Crysis 2 or Black Ops?
If you don't have gold then get Crysis 2. Great single player game and beautiful graphics. Black Ops is great but more only if you have gold for the online play. Good luck. =)
Personally I am a black ops fan. I have been playing it since about a month after it came out. Playing online is the funnest part I don't really like the campaign but it still is not that bad. Online play they do have extra maps and crap you can buy but you don't need them to play online against other people. I would recommend black ops if you are looking for online play but if you are playing offline I would probably have to recommend crisis 2 even though I am not really a fan of that game.Should I buy Crysis 2 or Black Ops?
Well don't buy either. Get Gold and Modern Warfare 3. The most fun you will have will be playing online. If you can't do this, don't get Black Ops, the single player sucks, get Crysis 2 for single player.
I say Black Ops. The campaign mode was alright. It has good story. The zombie maps are the best part of the whole thing. The multiplayer is great.Should I buy Crysis 2 or Black Ops?
Never played Crysis 2, but Black Ops sucked.

Should I buy Crysis 2 PC version?
I know there are dozens of 90+ reviews of Crysis 2 out there but I also heard that the game has been dumb down compared to the first. I heard Crysis 2 is more linear, suit is now weaker, and the enemy AI is glitchy. I hope the next patch, which the developer is planning to post for download, will fix one or two of these problems. Should I wait for the patch before I buy the game, should I buy right away, or should I avoid this game?
I enjoyed playing the first Crysis because the game allowed me to approach the enemies in various ways and made me feel like a super hero. And I'm afraid to buy the sequel because of these rumors. I don't mind if the stage is now set to the urban jungle or graphics doesn't look as good as Crysis, but I do care about whether there are sandbox elements or not in the game and how re-playable it is.Should I buy Crysis 2 PC version?
Absolutely ....y not?crysis 2 is very good game compared to crysis..and believe me ive played it....the AI is much much improved and the graphics consume less that first crysis, but looks most amazing...
but i have to confess, its not re-playable...its very good, but is not replayabe...
and please, for god's sake, don't believe in the rumors..crysis 2 nanosuit is more developed and gives u more options to kill enemy and WILL make u feel like a super-superhero...
please buy it, otherwise u will miss this once-in-a-life-time-game....good luck....Should I buy Crysis 2 PC version?

I would say Yes
Because
Multiplayer=40 hours+
Single Player=10 Hours+
Sandbox=999999 Hours+
And by the way it completely feels nothing like an average FPS its something different and unique. A very compelling single player and addictive Multiplayer. I would says its a must buy!

Brink or Crysis 2, which one should I get (for multiplayer)?
So, I'm going to get 1 of these games tomorrow, Brink looks better, but it has worse reviews compared to Crysis 2. I won't bore you with long sentences of information, which one has better gameplay? Which one has more customisation options? Which one is more addictive. This question MUST be answered before 10:00 tomorrow, so get answering! Simple answers appreciated more! :D
Thanks for your time, please answer :DBrink or Crysis 2, which one should I get (for multiplayer)?
Brink has more customization options but Crysis 2 can be more additcive. the story line and multiplayer for brink are practically the same and you you do the same thing over and over again like you either attack something or defend something. . . . in Crysis 2 the graphics are amazing the story line is good the multiplayer is really fun its like cod and halo put together so i suggest u get Crysis 2
if you are getting one for PC - get Brink, if it's for a console think - think of another game as i can hardly find anybody to play with...at least on xbox 360, but even if you'll get a party of 4 friends it can be fun....yes even 2 on 2!
I've never played Crysis 2 on PC, but i own it on 360, it has a great campaign, but very frustrating multiplayer IMO, of course maybe i just exactly understand the mecanics, but running in cloak all the time and sitting in the corner waiting for you energy to refill is not the best multiplayer experience.
i would say get Brink, but be aware of what i've wrote above.
i could also recommend Battlefield Bad Company 2 as i think it's the best multiplayer experience in FPS.
You could've also heard that Brink has enormous lags, well that has been fixed long time ago...at least on 360.
Good luckBrink or Crysis 2, which one should I get (for multiplayer)?
Heard very bad review for Brink's multiplayer. Crysis 2's campaign is amazing but the multiplayer has a few issues mainly the stealth almost everyone stealth's all the time and because of this your always looking around every corner to spot someone and it slows down game play, theres also a perk thing that helps spot stealth's but doesn't help much at all. The good things is that its a good change from the other first person shooter out there. Overall Crysis 2 imo.
Defiantly crysis. Brink is a good game but it is lagy as **** and picking different classes and weights gets annoying and the AI is just terrible and the parkour elements of the game barley work. the maps were just not made for it. DO NOT GET BRINK YOU WILL WASTE MONEYBrink or Crysis 2, which one should I get (for multiplayer)?
Brink is said to be a very disappointing game, also the multiplayer is a problem people say it needs a huge patch to make it better.
I can assure you Crysis 2 would be the better choice.
don't get either, trust me there both really bad games and i had to trade mine in, your better off jut waiting for all the new games to come out.
Brink is crap

Is crysis 2 dead on PC?
I have seen the reviews between crysis 1 and 2. We know crysis 1 wins my majority vote. But do people play this game much? I want to buy it, but should I. I really need an honest opinion. I used to have it for xbox 360, but I want it for PC. ThanksIs crysis 2 dead on PC?
It's dead Jim. The game blows.

Why did Crysis 2 get bad reviews?
User reviews on critic score: 148/431 rated this game "bad". And the critic score was 100%. What's the deal here? Why did Crysis 2 get bad reviews?
because the graphics werent as good as the first. I hate graphics whores. its still a good game and the best looking game on a consoleWhy did Crysis 2 get bad reviews?
A lot of the pure reviews are solely because a lot of PC gamers were expecting a step up from Crysis 1.. Me personally I own a PC that runs Crysis on maximum settings and it most definetely the best looking game currently on consumer market.. and to spend the best part of 拢40 on release for Crysis 2, to only be let down by not only gameplay, but story line, and most of all for me graphically, I was expecting a massive massive step up from the original, but they fell below the bar.. I personally still really enjoyed the game but I would rather own 1 than 2 any day of the week. Why did Crysis 2 get bad reviews?
its a great game although there are some bugs and glitches according to many reviewers.

How good is Crysis 2?
k, i never played the first one, and by watching the crysis 2 reviews i can say it looks like a cool game, is it worth it?How good is Crysis 2?
I've been playing crysis 2 all day, what a badass game I say. Fortunately I got it for nothing from a friend that understands where to get these things! I left a website link anybody dying to test the fresh cry engine! How good is Crysis 2?
i bought it the day it came out, and do not regret doing so! the story line is pretty darn good, kept me entertained for a while. im not to sure about the replay value on it considering i never replay story lines to begin with unless im trying to unlock all the achievements. the online play is just a mixture between call of duty and halo, but i believe that still needs some major works before i play it online over black ops! is it worth buying though? yes!
